The Bob Moore Juniors Cup - Football Tournament
Sun 10 Apr 2022Our boys did us proud today at a local school football tournament. They played 7 matches and showed great teamwork supporting and congratulating each other. Their efforts resulted in bronze medals. Well done boys, you should be extremely proud of yourselves!

Stay safe, Be seen - Safety Day 2022
Wed 16 Mar 2022Today the children have enjoyed an action packed Safety Day with activities led by a lorry driver from Explore, a female crane driver from Select, our Local Neighbourhood Police Team as well as our Local Fire Service. The children have heard many messages about staying safe and being seen to ensure their safety and the safety of others.

Year 5/6 Viking Day
Fri 04 Mar 2022On 11th February Mrs Tranter very kindly brought into school a selection of Viking weapons, clothes, jewellery and utensils. The children were amazed at how detailed a lot of the items were, and they were very surprised by the weight of the chainmail armour. The children spent an enjoyable afternoon trying things on and listening to Mrs Tranter explain how the various items were made and how they reflected the history of the Vikings.

World Book Day

During assembly this morning, we talked about children all over the world celebrating World Book Day with books in different languages. The children then enjoyed the Hungry Caterpillar in French as well as joining in with words and actions.
