  • Forest School - Bader Class

    Thu 22 Jun 2023

Bader class enjoyed some scented potions this week and some spices in the mud kitchen. Some children chose to make paint by grinding leaves, mud or turmeric. They made paint brushes from sticks and leaves and painted on a white sheet. They then extended this idea and used their colours to dye some pieces of wool. They dried the wool and made it into necklaces, bracelets and headbands! There were some excellent creations. • Visit from Northamptonshire Neighborhood Policing Team

    Thu 15 Jun 2023

This week PC Mel Carter from the Northamptonshire Neighborhood Policing Team came to visit the children and talked with them about Safety.

They talked to the children about if they saw a member of the police out and about to talk to them if needed as they are there to help. They also talked about Online Safety and spoke about 'stranger danger'. We find it useful to have them visit school so the children become familiar with members of the community who can help them and keep them safe.
