Forest School - Bader Class
Thu 06 Jul 2023This week in Forest School the Year 5 children all used a bow saw to cut a piece of wood and then a knife to whittle it. They all worked carefully to create their work.
Some children made animals using clay and others enjoyed playing in the hammock. We found some white fabric and made dye using food colouring. The children enjoyed dying their fabric with different colours and patterns. They took lots of pride in their work. It was a very creative forest school this week.

Forest School - Bader Class
Thu 22 Jun 2023Bader class enjoyed some scented potions this week and some spices in the mud kitchen. Some children chose to make paint by grinding leaves, mud or turmeric. They made paint brushes from sticks and leaves and painted on a white sheet. They then extended this idea and used their colours to dye some pieces of wool. They dried the wool and made it into necklaces, bracelets and headbands! There were some excellent creations. Other children swung in the hammock, climbed the tyres and used pallets and tubes to construct a roller coaster.
