Eco Day
Wed 29 Mar 2023Today was 'ECO DAY'. Lots of discussion was had about our environment and what we can do to help and take care of our planet.
Some children went on a nature walk and explored lots of potential homes for our native species including a squirrel drey which was very exciting! Bird Feeders were made and the children were involved in lots of other fun activities.

British Science Week - Bader Class
Fri 17 Mar 2023As part of the Year 5 and 6 Science week's activities, Bader class have constructed seismographs out of yoghurt pots, shoe boxes and strings, and built the solar system using Paper Mache.

British Science Week - Gibson
Thu 16 Mar 2023Gibson Class had a very busy Science morning learning about the human body. They looked at their unique fingerprints, made models of the muscles in our arms and constructed life size skeletons learning the names of many of their bones.

British Science Week - Flying Foxes
Thu 16 Mar 2023This week CWPA are celebrating British Science week! In Flying Foxes, the children completed a “Nature Detectives" activity. They went outside to spot mini-beasts and their habitats and had lots of discussions about why mini-beasts are so important and why they should look after the environment. The children came up with ideas for bug hotels.

Trip to Banbury Canal Museum
Tue 07 Mar 2023The children have had an amazing day today at Banbury Canal Museum. We enjoyed 2 workshops learning about how canals were built and how people lived on the canal. To top it off we enjoyed a boat trip along the canal! Gibson Class were impeccably behaved and had a great time.
